Widemouth Bay is a long unspoilt stretch of sand beach and craggy cliffs that is all about sense of space, a 'big sky' feel and an endless horizon. With lifeguard cover throughout the summer season, Widemouth is a great spot for beginners and more seasoned surfers alike. The bay has a relaxed vibe, with a handful of pubs and cafes; less than 3 miles away, Bude has plenty of restaurants and a wide range of shops, from essential supermarkets to surf and lifestyle stores. If you're looking for some adrenaline-fuelled fun, there are all kinds of activities on offer nearby, including coasteering, surf windsurf and kitesurf lessons, bike hire, canoeing, kayaking and even archery.

Guest Reviews

"Wonderful property, right on the beach. Amazing views! Exactly what we wanted for a relaxing family holiday. It was great to go out of season as it was really quiet. Would really love to stay again!

"We stayed at Pendeen in February 2022 with our dog. Amazing property with great views. We loved to sit and watch the storms roll in after a long walk. The property is within a short drive to major tourist attractions which were quiet given the time of year."
Taylor, February 2022
"We loved the property - the interior, furnishings and decor were all great. The welcome pack (coffee, biscuits, etc) were a nice touch. Stunning view of the sea - unbeatable. And such a great location being just yards from the beach."
