Can I bring my dog?

Bamaluz Beach, Breakwater Beach, and Lambeth Walk Beach are all dog-friendly throughout the year. However, there are restrictions between 10am and 6pm on other beaches from 15 May until 30 September. Many restaurants nearby are pet-friendly, and the South West Coast Path is the perfect place for walking your dogs.

Accessibility

All the beaches in St Ives have adjacent level concrete paths. Our top recommendations are Porthmeor and Porthminster, where beach wheelchairs and buggies can be hired. There are disabled parking spaces allocated in all Cornwall Council car parks. WCs are located next to the car park. RNLI Lifeguards are on duty between 10am and 6pm throughout the summer months.

Newquay Airport is around a 40-mile drive away, and trains run daily to St Ives.
