350 metres down to Portreath beach.


WHERE IS IT?

Sea Break is a coastal house located up high above Portreath beach in north Cornwall. Set on a quiet road, guests can walk to the beach in just 10-minutes. Portreath is a popular seaside town for families with its soft sand, shingle shoreline and perfect mix of surf shops, surf school, cafe, restaurants, bakery, village supermarket and amusement arcade.

Bissoe Bike Trail is nearby, with bike hire available at The Hub Cafe. Guests will also enjoy Gwel an Mor 800 metres away with its spa, restaurant and 9 hole golf course.

While it's tempting not to use your car during your stay, Porthtowan, Gwithian, Godrevy, Truro and St Agnes are within a few miles drive away, with St Ives and Perranporth a little further afield.

INSIDE:

  • A large split-level detached house offering peace and seclusion in a quiet lane above Portreath.
  • Light filled living room with large corner sofa, two arm chairs, TV, Freeview and a log burner for cosy winter nights.
  • Large conservatory accessible from the living room with a comfortable three-seater sofa, coffee table, wooden dining table, four wooden chairs, double patio doors leading to the coastal inspired garden and sea views.
  • Open plan modern kitchen and diner with an extendable wooden dining table and Eames style chairs seating up to eight guests.
  • Fully equipped kitchen with Stanley Arga oven, warming oven, two hot plates, electric single over and grill, four electric induction hobs, built in fridge, under counter freezer, wine fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and Nespresso Magimix coffee machine.
  • Guests have a choice to create a self-contained annex on the ground floor with a kitchen/dining room, bedroom and en-suite bathroom, with its own entrance from the driveway.
  • The annex kitchenette includes 4 electric hobs 2 smaller electric ovens fridge freezer, breakfast bar and 2 stools. The living space has a two-seater sofa bed (option to sleep 10 guestst), TV and doors leading out to the coastal inspired garden.
  • Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, Belfast sink, clothes airer, iron, ironing board, drying rack, wetsuit hanging rack and door leading outside.
  • Children's games room with a football table.

SLEEPING:

  • Two ground floor bedrooms and two further bedrooms on the first floor with coastal artwork throughout.
  • Master bedroom on the ground floor with king size bed, double patio doors leading to the decking area, two bedside tables, lamps, chest of drawers, wardrobe and full-length mirror.
  • Bedroom two located on the ground floor (can be made into a self-contained annex) with a double bed, two bedside tables, lamps, chest of drawers, built in hanging storage, full length mirror and en-suite access to the annex. En-suite bathroom with corner bath, shower over the bath, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC.
  • Bedroom three located on the first floor with a king size zip & link bed (can be made into two singles), two bedside tables with lamps built in, chest of drawers and Velux windows.
  • Bedroom four located on the 1st floor with two single beds, two bedside tables, lamps, built in storage, full length mirror and Velux window.
  • Ground floor wet room with large rain shower, wash basin, wc and heated towel rail.
  • First floor shower room with shower, wash basin, heated towel rail and wc.

OUTSIDE:

  • Large three-tiered coastal inspired garden with sea views in the distance from the top level.
  • Decking and alfresco dining area with ample seating for eight guests.
  • Sloped grassed lawn area surrounded by shrubs and palm trees.
  • Secluded gravel area with two sun loungers and wooden bench.
  • Parking for three cars.
  • Outside heated shower. 

NEED TO KNOW:

  • One well behaved dog welcome (additional charge applies).
  • No smoking within the property.
  • Refundable damage deposit of £500, due with full balance.
  • Short breaks available outside of school holidays.
