The Details

Location

Where is it?

9 White Lodge is an apartment perfectly positioned overlooking Mawgan Porth beach. Mawgan Porth is a beach that gets it right, with its curve of yellow sand, foamy blue water and just the right size handful of tasty eateries.

Little feet splash about in the trickling river and leave tiny footprints on the sand, perhaps joined by pawprints (as the beach is dog friendly all year round).

The beachfront street is dotted with shops and cafes alike, alongside their activity centre, King Surf. Try your hand at mastering the waves or let off steam at the seasonal crazy golf and pitch and putt course, based near a historic Iron Age site.

If you fancy stretching your legs, take the steady amble up the South West coast path towards neighbouring Watergate Bay or Bedruthan Steps, where you can soak up spectacular panoramas. Padstow is a 20 minute drive away.

Guest Reviews

We love Mawgan Porth. Had several holidays there when the children were young. Returned with them as adults with their partners. Bedrooms and accommodation suitable for 6 adults, and 5 minutes walk to beach. We went for several 8am morning dips and bodyboarded every day. Mawgan Porth has a pub that does food, a fish restaurant and small store as well as coffee shops and pop up noodle and pizza places, pitch and put and crazy golf plus lovely coastal walks to Bedruthan steps and Watergate bay. Buses pass through going to Padstow and other coastal spots so you can park and forget the car.
Amazing location. Great facilities. Fantastic view. We saw less of Cornwall than we wanted because we had such a good spot it seemed crazy to go anywhere else!
The location at Mawgan Porth was perfect - short walk to the beach and coastal path, short drives to lots of things to do. We and our toddler loved it, did not want to go home!!!
