The location - just a short walk from Fistral beach and Newquay's harbour and the great views.
Stroll alongside the golf course for a few minutes, and you're on the sand of one of Britain's most famous surfing beaches.
Fistral, at the southern edge of Newquay on the north Cornish coast, is the world famous surfing beach drawing thousands of visitors and surfers from around the world each year.
It is best known for its world class surfing conditions and often hosts many surf festivals and competitions including night surfing, BUCS Surf Championships and Boardmasters. Framed by two headlands, the beach is fully exposed to the Atlantic swell which means Fistral, along with Watergate Bay, often offers the biggest waves along this coast.
The beach is perfect for families, offering the simple pleasures of sea and sand plus surf hire and lessons, restaurants, cafes and shops, and with RNLI Lifeguards on duty throughout the spring and summer months. Fistral is a short walk from the centre of Newquay, with plenty of shopping, dining and child-friendly attractions.
