Water's Edge sits right on the waterfront of the Penryn River, offering a peaceful riverside setting just a scenic 20-minute walk along the water's edge into the heart of Falmouth. With ever-changing river views on your doorstep and the town centre within easy reach, it's perfectly positioned for relaxed coastal living.
Located in the heart of Falmouth, Gyllyngvase Beach is renowned for its gently curving shoreline and glassy clear water. The calm swell makes it the perfect spot for families to paddle and soak up the sunshine, while watersports such as stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking are also popular. Equipment can be hired on Gylly beach as well as at nearby Maenporth and Swanpool beaches, and yachts can be hired (skippered or bareboat) through Freewinds or Bowman.
A short stroll into Falmouth town reveals streets lined with quirky independent shops and eateries serving fresh local food. The surrounding coastline can be explored on foot, leading to unspoiled coves and turquoise sea. The lush gardens and castle views at Pendennis Point are within easy walking distance, or hop on the ferry from Falmouth Harbour to cross the water to the beautifully quaint Roseland Peninsula. -
