This National Trust farm on the cliffs above Mawgan Porth is worth a pilgrimage to pick up a few joints of its freerange lamb, reared on the green pastures and sea breezes of the north coast – Fifteen chefs swear you can taste the salty air in the meat. There can be no better reason to forgo burgers – these chops are perfectly suited to the smoky flavours of a beach barbie. Enquire within the farm shop, and pick yourself a few sprigs of herbs free of charge on the way out.
