Home / 24 hours at The Village
Where eco-conscious design meets the rhythm of the Atlantic
Wake to the sound of the ocean, just 200 metres from your front door. From the wildflower-planted roofs to the soft curves of their timber cladding, The Village homes are designed to blend harmoniously into the cliffside above Watergate Bay.
Stay this summer and save up to 25% on week-long stays during July. Settle into the rhythms of life spent shoreside. Interested? Here’s a taster of what 24 hours at The Village can look like…
Step onto your spacious sun terrace balcony and watch the golden light stretch across the beach, surfers already tracing lines through the early swell. Conditions look good? Grab your board from your dedicated surf store (or hire one down on the sand) and head straight to the surf.
Prefer dry land? Follow the coast path north to the granite sea stacks at Bedruthan Steps or take a gentler stroll south to the sheltered sands of Porth.
Ease into post-surf snacking at The Beach Hut, where you can graze on small plates over the best sea views in the area. Just seconds from The Village, this laid-back beach restaurant is perfect for heading down for an easy bite to eat.
Back at your Village retreat, floor-to-ceiling windows flood the open-plan living space with light.
Each is designed differently but all of the interiors are quietly luxurious – clean lines, curated furnishings and coastal textures. Sliding glass doors let summer air drift in from the balcony and lead to cliffside and sea views.
Stroll down to Zacry’s on the sea wall for refined dishes made with local produce – think chargrilled seafood, punchy salads and well-paired wines. Or settle in at The Living Space for more laid-back bites and cocktails with a sunset backdrop.
Head back to your retreat for a glass of wine on the sofa or the terrace, or a leisurely bath.
At golden hour, The Village transforms again. Watch the light melt over the waves from your terrace, a glass of something chilled in hand. Surrounded by coastal wildflowers and cliff paths, it’s a place to slow down, breathe deep and stay grounded.
