INTERIOR DESIGN MASTERS

CATCH UP ON BBC IPLAYER

At Beach Retreats we know that how a place looks and feels inside is an important part of making your coastal break a real get away. Being footsteps from the beach is even better when you can kick back in surroundings designed to inspire and relax.

Design matters to us, and our owners and guests too. Which is why we’re excited to have worked with Interior Design Masters this year – offering the winning prize of a contract to redesign a Beach Retreats property in The Village at Watergate Bay.

The winner, Banjo Beale, has transformed our retreat Winnow at Watergate bay into a sustainable haven on the cliffside. See it in full here.

The eight-part series has now aired on BBC One, if you missed it you can catch up on iPlayer.

Hosted by Alan Carr, ten talented new designers competed each week to impress design judge and former editor of Elle Decoration, Michelle Ogundehin. Weekly guest judges also included Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Mary Portas and Jade Jagger.

WINNING DESIGN FOR WATERGATE BAY

The season’s winner will be offered a contract to redesign a Beach Retreats property in The Village, tucked into the cliffs at Watergate Bay. Here, laidback open-plan living complements the stretching clifftops, open sky, sea vistas, and sandy shoreline just metres away.

The redesigned property is available to book now.

MEET THE CONTESTANTS

Interior design is our thing, too, so we can’t wait to see this years’ contestants transform spaces on screen, and for one winner to work their magic on our retreat at the Village in Watergate bay.

Below, you can meet the 10 contestants of Interior Design Masters, series 3, who are embarking on their journey to interior design success.
