The first floor open plan living area has a barrel rolled ceiling and floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening onto the full-width veranda, with two velvet sofas, armchairs, a virtual flame fireplace, widescreen television, Blu-ray player and WiFi. The dining area seats up to ten, and the fully equipped kitchen includes an island unit. A separate laundry room has a washer and tumble dryer. Ecologically sustainable features such as sedum roofs, air source heat pumps and bris soleil temperature control keep the property comfortable and environmentally sound, with underfloor heating throughout. Two bedrooms have super king size beds with en-suite bathrooms, and two further bedrooms have zip and link beds – configurable as twins or super king doubles – each with a pull-out single truckle bed. These two rooms share a Jack and Jill style bathroom with a freestanding double ended bath. A travel cot and high chair are available. Outside, a ground floor patio complements the veranda with its table, chairs and sun loungers. A store room with wetsuit rack and outdoor surf shower is ready for beach days, with designated parking for two cars and two electric vehicle charge points.
Watergate Bay's two miles of sand draw surfers, families and dogs alike, and watersports lessons are available locally – try surfing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and kite surfing in the Atlantic swell. Stride out along the coast path with walks to Newquay's seven bays or Mawgan Porth, and enjoy beachfront dining as the sun goes down.
