The traffic-free location, complete with perfect little garden, picket fence and extraordinary view over the bay.
A 200 metre amble down the footpath to the sand at the foot of the cliffs.
Whitsand Bay is a wide, dramatic arc of coast, with a long sandy beach dotted with craggy rocks and backed by high cliffs. This beautiful stretch of Cornwall is a great place to get away from all the hectic demands of modern life. Pottering about on the sand, exploring the winding cliff paths and strolling to the nearby cafe for lunch, making life simple and relaxing is what Whitsand Bay is all about.
If you need a fix of city distractions, Plymouth, with all its theatres, cinemas, cafes, restaurants and shops, is a short drive away; if you fancy all that a classic seaside town offers, Looe is a similar distance in the other direction.
Within a short drive is Cawsand Bay, with cafes, shops and surf hire. A little further to the east is Plymouth, with everything a big city offers, or a few miles west you'll find the seaside town of Looe with seafood restaurants, pubs and even a monkey sanctuary.

The cabin is beautiful inside and out. We loved eating dinner on the deck surrounded by the beautiful garden (we even saw a hedgehog) and on the couple of rainy days, we played Scrabble. Really recommend walking along the beach to Portwrinkle. Also walked Kingsand to Mt Edgecumbe and Rame Head to Kingsand - would highly recommend.

We loved staying at The Meadow, ideally situated on the cliff side, the interior is tasteful with all mod cons.the log fire was very accommodating with the chilly evenings. The owners left us with an welcome pack which was gratefully received. The weather was fantastic and really helped us to get the maximum of eating alfresco. It's a great little chalet with beautiful surroundings we would love to return at some point.

We (my 85 year old Mother and my 15 year old Daughter) have had a wonderful week of cloud, sun and wind! My Mother has adored the garden whilst my daughter did Work Experience with the Surf School. Glorious views, friendly neighbours and a light and contemporary, very tasteful chalet. Thank you so much! Ticked all our boxes.

It has been truely amazing, thank you.

Our little boy loved the garden - bats, bunnies and lots of birds sighted and with lots of flowers and plants to water, monsters to hunt, and plenty of snails and spiders to chase we had loads of fun.

Wow! This is such an amazing place. The view is spectacular! We really enjoyed staying here and next time we hope to stay for 2 weeks instead of one. From the kids: We all had such fun, best holiday ever. We would give it 5 stars.

Had such a lovely few days away. The warm october sunshine allowed us to enjoy the views from the patio and truly relax. You have a real gem here. All the home comforts away from it all with amazing views.

I was suprised with a visit to this beautiful chalet as a birthday treat, and what a treat it was! We have enjoyed exploring the coastline and having a drink outside on the decking. We even had a game of scrabble! You have a wonderful place here, thank you for sharing. We will be back

We had a lovely time in The Meadow. The property was in a perfect location for our family and we were able to explore the local area with ease. The walk down to Whitsand Beach was well worth it - it is probably the most stunning beach we have ever visited.
