The position - directly on the sandy beach at Porth
Out the front door, and you are there.
Situated between Newquay and Watergate Bay on the rugged North Cornwall coast, Porth is a large, west-facing sandy beach, sheltered by headlands on either side and with a cafe, restaurant and pub right next to the beach.
Porth is the kind of beach that kids dream of with sheltered soft sand and rock pools galore, a stream flowing down to the shoreline and even an island with a wooden bridge across to it.
Lifeguards patrol the beach from May to September, making it safe for swimming and bodyboarding. Even during the height of summer, Porth provides a sense of peace.

Stunning location with wonderful balcony overlooking the beach...and dog friendly! Literally out of the door and on the sand...what could be better! Property clean and nicely furnished...shops & nice restaurants within walking distance. Will be back next year!
DB, October 2019
Lovely spacious property even for 4 adults. Had all of the necessary kitchen equipment, washer, dryer etc and a large fridge freezer which is a must for self catering. Fantastic views and peaceful (we went in October).
SAK, October 2018
We had a fabulous time, the property being directly on the beach is perfect for chilling out, enjoying the tides and the every changing view in one of the most peaceful places we've stayed. Everything you need, a real home from home beachy vibe which we all enjoyed, Mimi & Albie our dogs loved their daily beach adventures especially as they didnt have to get in the car and drive to it, just out the door and theres the beach! Yay doggie heaven :-) This will certainly be our annual go to holiday venue.
NL, March 2020
We were very impressed with the property. It was extremely comfortable with everything we needed. The view was of course impressive - we enjoyed it so much we have already booked the property for two weeks later this year.
