    Where is it?

    Less than 100 metres away from Porth beach; a wide sandy beach sheltered by two headlands, 2 The Strand is a contemporary four bedroom house over four floors.

    When children draw a seaside scene, they draw Porth. Streams, rockpools and caves beg to be explored, whilst a sweep of beach provides ample terrain for sandcastle building and sand-fairy making. Families, adventurers and explorers of all ages will lose hour after happy hour here.

    A narrow wooden footbridge leads to Porth Island, a headland full of history. Watch in awe at mid tide, particularly on windy days, as the blow hole shoots rainbow sprays of water. Embrace the theatre of Porth Island any time of day or all year round, just wrap up warm and bring a camera to capture dramatic sunrises and storms alike.

    Back down on the beach, melted strawberry ice cream drips down sides of candy cones and sizzling tapas is served at Porth's beachside eateries. Once you've soaked up the Porth scene, try heading towards Newquay's bays, up the coast path to Whipsiderry and Watergate, or towards the rolling cliffs of Mawgan Porth and Bedruthan Steps.

    • Master bedroom on the second floor with super king size bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, chest of drawers, 32 inch flat screen TV, Freeview, two comfortable chairs, balcony with sea views and outside seating.
    • Master en-suite shower room with large walk in rainfall shower, heated towel rain, wash basin and wc.
    • Second bedroom on the second floor with super king zip and link bedroom (can be made into two singles), with garden view, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lamps.
    • Second en-suite shower room with large walk in rainfall shower, heated towel rail, wash basin and wc.
    • Ground floor super king zip and link bedroom (can be made into two singles), bedside tables, lamps, and double wardrobe. Access to private patio with outside seating.
    • Ground floor double bedroom with bedside tables, wall length mirror and lamps.
    • Luxury family bathroom on the ground floor with free standing bath, heated towel rail, wash basin and wc.

    Outside:

    • Tiered garden accessible from the lower ground floor and kitchen with garden furniture and seating for eight guests.
    • Parking for two vehicles, one in the garage and one parked on the house driveway or alternately one on the main driveway leading up to all the properties. Please be aware the driveway accessing the garage is steep.
    • Balcony accessible from the living room with sea views.

  • Need to Know
    • Two well behaved dogs allowed.
    • Please note that there is a seasonal dog ban between 10am and 6pm from 1 July to 31 August on Porth Beach.
    • Permitted parking for two cars only (one on the main driveway leading up to the properties and one on the driveway in front of the house or in the garage), any additional cars must be parked off site. 
    • No smoking within the property.
    • Cautionary deposit of £250, due with full balance.
    • Please be aware parking on the driveway is steep. Vehicles will need to be secured by handbrake.
