The Details

Location

Where is it?

Point Break is part of The Dunes,a development situated directly on the beach.

Perranporth is unique in landscape and atmosphere, inviting families, walkers, and adventurers of all ages to explore its terrain. Its wild cliffs and countryside inspired Winston Graham to write the Poldark novels, and it's easy to see why.

Hike atop vast hills, seek out secret caves or paddle on the shoreline, feeling the soft embrace of the sand. At low tide, wild swim in Perranporth's natural open air pool, its waters reaching Mediterranean temperatures in the summer months. At sunset, sip a glass of Chardonnay at The Watering Hole, the UK's only restaurant and bar on a beach, which hosts live music, comedy and beach activities all year round.

From colourful streets dotted with alternative boutiques to a golf club on the green cliff tops, it is easy to while away hour after happy hour in this bubbly coastal town. Yet its central position on the North Cornwall coast makes Perranporth the perfect base for heading further afield, too. A short drive will take you to the surfer's paradise of Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay. Or, head south for the heritage coastline and unspoiled bays of St Agnes.

Guest Reviews

What a fantastic property - stunning views, beautifully decorated - we had a fantastic time. Great location for the beach and town - what more could you need!
We spent a week at Point Break with family and two dogs, we were very pleased with the house, it was immaculately clean. Views were amazing you felt like you were actually on the beach. Weather was brilliant for March sunshine every day. Perranporth has some good places to eat and drink that you can take your dog. We have used Beach Retreats before and have never been disappointed.

First class property in fabulous location stayed there previously and will return again, well maintained year on year, excellent bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen dinning area. Great value for money only problem it gets booked up really quick
If I could have scored more for meeting expectations I would have, this house exceeds expectations. The view from the balcony is stunning and the location and cleanliness of the house was perfect. Added to that a week of sunshine and amazing sunsets and you could be anywhere in the world. We have already booked it again for next year. I particularly like to use Beach Retreats because they are trustworthy, during lockdown no quibble about refunds, it was all done straight away and the staff are so polite. Thank you.
