Best thing about

The uninterrupted country and ocean views from the large balcony and living space.

The Details

Where is it?

Curlew is a brand-new detached house on a quiet road, with stunning uninterrupted views over Perranporth beach and the countryside. The house is perfectly located to give its guests a front row seat to Perranporth's dramatic sunsets and less than a 10 minute walk to the beach.

Perranporth is unique in landscape and atmosphere, inviting families, walkers, and adventurers of all ages to explore its terrain. Its wild cliffs and countryside inspired Winston Graham to write the Poldark novels, and it's easy to see why. Hike atop vast hills, seek out secret caves or paddle on the shoreline, feeling the soft embrace of the sand. At low tide, wild swim in Perranporth's natural open air pool, its waters reaching Mediterranean temperatures in the summer months. At sunset, sip a glass of Chardonnay at The Watering Hole, the UK's only restaurant and bar on a beach, which hosts live music, comedy and beach activities all year round.

From colourful streets dotted with alternative boutiques to a golf club on the green cliff tops, it is easy to while away hour after happy hour in this bubbly coastal town. Yet its central position on the North Cornwall coast makes Perranporth the perfect base for heading further afield, too. A short drive will take you to the surfer's paradise of Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay. Or, head south for the heritage coastline and unspoiled bays of St Agnes.

Guest Reviews

Curlew is a lovely new house with spectacular views to the coast, right on the coast path & very close to all the amenities of Perranporth. We covered 45 miles of coastal walking during our weeks stay. The bed was extremely comfy with nice linens all benefiting a great nights sleep.
Curlew was wonderful. The first floor living space was fantastic, and the panoramic view over Perranporth Bay a constant delight.
The location of the property and views out to the sea were stunning. The walk to the beach is about 15 minutes over the headland and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or a buggy but otherwise fine. The property is nicely laid out too.
Curlew is a great property, located with a spectacular sea view and easy access to the coastal path. The property has everything you need, is walkable to Perranporth, and a short drive to St Agnes to the South or Newquay to the North. We had a lovely week, visiting places in Cornwall as well as spending quite a bit of time surfing down at Perranporth!
Amazing brand new property, we had the best time in a beautiful house with fabulous views, we loved it so much that we didn't want to leave!! We really enjoyed our stay there. Loved the location, the views were a very special treat and the wonderful walk into the little town of Perranporth along the coastal path was the highlight of our day, it is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and such a lovely place to explore the cliff tops, the beaches and the sea below. So relaxing and peaceful, just what we needed. We would love to return next year, if it's not already fully booked!
