The Details

Location

Where is it?

Just off the coastal road, between Padstow and Newquay, Menehay is a stylish three-bedroom, upside-down living barn conversion, with rural and sea views. Guests will find themselves on the soft sand of Mawgan Porth beach in just a seven minute walk down a quiet path.

Mawgan Porth is a beach that gets it just right- an expanse of white sand, a swirling ocean, surf school, with lifeguards in high season, and a handful of tasty eateries and shops.

If you fancy stretching your legs, take the steady amble up the stunning South West coast path towards the National Trust's Carnewas at Bedruthan Steps, soaking up spectacular panoramas. Within 30 minutes, you could be tucking into the most delicious cream tea, energising you to venture further to the “seven bays”, including the spectacular Trevose Head Heritage Coast. A dramatic stroll south takes you to Watergate bay, passing a number of iron age hill forts. With a bus stop convenient to Menehay, there is always the option to walk one way and enjoy the scenic bus journey back.

If a spa is more your thing, you have a choice within walking distance at Bedruthan Hotel or Scarlet Hotel.

Guest Reviews

Well located to explore beautiful Cornwall, as well as to enjoy done great eateries! Barn is very cosy and stylishly decorated in marine theme..spacious for a family of four...
Lovely clean bright property. Plenty of room to move for adults & our toddler. The property had everything you needed to make your stay very comfortable. We would definitely recommend it & would book it again at a later date. Lovely touch providing milk, scones jams and cream. Thank you.
This was our second stay in Menehay and it didn't disappoint. Lovely property and you can sit and have your morning cuppa on the chair by the kitchen looking out to the sea. The shared space at the back is great with picnic benches to sit and admire the sea and surrounding views from. You can walk down to Mawgan Porth's amazing beach in 10 mins where you can also get onto part of the coastal path too. This time I was in touch with the owner who was lovely and so helpful.
The property was a beautiful barn conversion, very clean and well equipped. I will miss waking up and seeing the sea!!
