THE WALK TO THE BEACH?

Walk along the River Gannel in just 5 minutes, or head to the popular Fistral beach a 10 minute walk away.


WHERE IS IT?

3 Riverside Avenue is a beautiful detached house in an elevated position with everchanging views over the River Gannel. Guests can walk along the Gannel at low tide to the family friendly Crantock beach, or be on the world famous Fistral beach in just a few minutes. It is no secret that Fistral is one of Cornwall's finest beaches. Stretching between two headlands, Fistral is a wide expanse of golden sand lapped by the Atlantic swells and famed for its surfing conditions.

Along the River Gannel itself, enjoy crabbing, beach days at low tide, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding and watch an abundance of wildlife come and go. 

Looking beyond the stunning coastal walks from your doorstep and rolling surf, the centre of Newquay is a 15 minute walk, with an abundance of restaurants, cafes, bars, surf schools, beaches, shops and more. We recommend a visit to Rick Stein's Fish take away and the Fish House restaurant on Fistral beach.  

While it's tempting not to use your car during your stay, Watergate Bay, Perranporth, Mawgan Porth, St Agnes and Padstow are just a short drive away.

INSIDE:

  • A four bedroom, detached house overlooking the River Gannel and its famous azure waters. 
  • Spacious open plan living, kitchen and dining space on the ground floor with a stunning coastal colour palette throughout. 
  • Second living space on the first floor with balcony, stunning river views, two sofas, giant bean bag and coffee table. Can be used as a suite to the master bedroom.
  • Slide back the bi-fold doors and step onto the decking area while enjoying fabulous countryside and river views. 
  • Living area with large corner sofa, armchair, log fire, mirror, coffee table, artwork, and large wall mounted TV with Freeview. Second door leading onto an outside storage area. 
  • Dining area with large wooden table and eight eames style chairs (two more chairs upstairs if needed), with sliding doors leading out to the back garden.
  • Breakfast bar and seating for three.
  • Beautiful fully equipped kitchen with feature AGA oven, electric hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle. 
  • Utility room with sink, fridge, washing machine, dryer, plenty of storage space and access to the back garden.
  • Wifi.

SLEEPING:

  • Master bedroom suite on the first floor with super king size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, chair and river views.
  • Second living area or master suite.
  • En-suite to the master with shower, heated towel rail, large mirror, wash basin and wc. 
  • Bedroom two on the ground floor with super king zip and link bed (can be made into two singles), wardrobe, chest of drawers,  mirror, bedside tables and lamps.
  • Bedroom three on the ground floor with a king size bed, triple wardrobe, chair, bedside tables, lamps and garden view.
  • Bedroom four on the ground floor with chalet bunk with double underneath and single on top. 
  • Luxurious family bathroom on the ground floor with deep jacuzzi bath, large rainfall shower with second shower head, wash basin, heated towel rail and wc.

OUTSIDE:

  • Large garden to the rear of the property with rattan furniture seating 10 guests, perfect for alfresco dining, along with two sun loungers for lazy afternoons in the sun. 
  • Outside tap for washing off sandy paws and feet.
  • Decked area to the front and side of the property with 2 x two seater chairs, 4 x single chairs and coffee table. The perfect spot for watching the morning kayakers and paddleboarders.  
  • Private parking for two vehicles at the front of the property and one more space at the back.

NEED TO KNOW:

  • Two well behaved dogs welcome (additional charge applies). 
  • Sorry, no smoking in the property or anywhere on the premises. 
  • Refundable damage deposit of £300, due with full balance. 
  • Short breaks available outside of school holidays. 
  • Book a 3 or 5 night break and get an extra 2 nights free. This offer is only available after October half-term and before Easter, excluding school holidays. Only available to book by telephone on 01637 861005.
