Where is it?
Point House is a large detached house overlooking the stunning Duporth beach just a short walk away from the historic harbour of Charlestown. Duporth is a private beach, open to residents only and those holidaying at Point House, meaning you will often have the bay to yourselves, away from the madding crowds.
You can reach Charlestown by foot in under 10 minutes. A fishing port abundant in character, Charlestown is the last open Georgian working 18th century harbour. As seen in the BBC Poldark series, the village embodies the essence of Cornish fishing life. Let classic tall ships and pebbly beaches dotted with caves set you daydreaming as you wander the streets, freshly caught crab sandwich in hand (just watch out for seagulls!).
Easy access to the South West Cost Path means you can strike a leisurely course out and find your way to neighbouring bays, including Carlyon, Pentewan and Porthpean Beach. For a day out, the world-famous Eden Project and the captivating Lost Garden of Heligan are just a short drive away, where horticulture, imagination and the county's unique spirit meet.

Need to Know
- One well-behaved dog welcome, please note dogs are not allowed in carpeted areas (additional charge applies).
- Sorry, no smoking in the property or anywhere on the premises.
- To access Duporth beach, walk down the garden, out of the gate, turn right onto the coast path and walk 10 minutes to a gate that leads you directly onto the beach.
- Cautionary deposit of £500, due with full balance.
- Please note Point House is in the centre of a residential area, please respect the neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 10pm.
- Please note the fire in the living room is not for guest use.
