THE WALK TO THE BEACH?

Crooklets and Summerleaze beaches are around 1.5 miles away.

Where Is It?

Poughill is a picture-postcard village complete with 13th century church and friendly village pub. There's a peaceful 'off the beaten path' feel here, even during the summer, making it a great place to really relax and recharge.

A 20 minute stroll or 5-10 minute drive will bring you to Bude, a lively coastal town surrounded by sandy beaches and with a good choice of restaurants, cafes, shops and pubs. You'll also find all kinds of activities on offer in Bude, including coasteering, surf , windsurf and kitesurf lessons, bike hire, canoeing, kayaking and even archery.

Inside:

  • 200 year old three bedroom period house renovated to a beautifully high standard whilst maintaining the stunning character of the building. Everywhere you look you'll find original fireplaces and slate flooring, wood panelling and deep window seats - there's even an old water well embedded in the kitchen floor.
  • In a tucked-away position, set back from the road and opposite the pretty village church.
  • Plenty of room to really spread out and relax with two living rooms, a separate dining room and two bathrooms.

  • External utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
  • Iron, ironing board, high chair, travel cot and hairdryer included.
  • Underfloor heating throughout the ground floor, central heating upstairs and Wi-Fi throughout.

  • Master bedroom with king-size bed, dressing area, built-in wardrobe and television with DVD player.
  • Ensuite bathroom with bath with shower over, WC, basin and heated towel rail.
  • Further double bedroom with double bed and built-in wardrobe.
  • Large twin room with two full size single beds, two chairs and two built-in wardrobes.
  • Family bathroom with feature stand-alone roll-top bath with 'rainfall' shower over, WC, basin and heated towel rail.
  • All three bedrooms are on the first floor and all have original fireplaces.
