The Details

Location

Where is it?

Whitsand Bay is a wide, dramatic arc of coast, with a long sandy beach dotted with craggy rocks and backed by high cliffs. This beautiful stretch of Cornwall is a great place to get away from all the hectic demands of modern life. Pottering about on the sand, exploring the winding cliff paths and strolling to the nearby cafe for lunch, making life simple and relaxing is what Whitsand Bay is all about.

If you need a fix of city distractions, Plymouth, with all its theatres, cinemas, cafes, restaurants and shops, is a short drive away; if you fancy all that a classic seaside town offers, Looe is a similar distance in the other direction.

Guest Reviews

The meadows is beautifully decorated both inside and outside with a gorgeous garden and patio to sit out on. It is situated in an amazing location with views across the bay. It was peaceful and relaxing and a joy to stay there.
The Meadows is literally located on the side of a cliff high above the beautiful Whitsand Bay. Whilst the location is not for the faint hearted (access via very steep hills and lots of steps, especially down to the beach) it is one of the most stunning vistas I've ever seen. The property is fairly compact but has everything you could need for a home from home.
We had a great time - the view was outstanding, the area very quiet and it was just the perfect place to relax.
