There are no set-up costs to join Beach Retreats. We simply charge a percentage commission on the bookings we generate for your property.
We go beyond the norm and offer you both payments and information in advance. At the start of each month, you will receive:
– Payments for any confirmed bookings for the month ahead, as well as last-minute bookings from the previous month.
– A report showing confirmed bookings in the future.
We all live for the beach and love the lifestyle it allows us, so we understand you may want to enjoy your property, as well as maximising its income.
To make it easy for everyone, we have a couple of simple principles:
– Owners may use their property as much as they like between October and Easter.
– Owners may use their property for four weeks in the main season: one of which is in
July or August.
However, it’s your place by the sea and you know what you want from it, so if you have specific requirements we can be flexible. Just talk to us about your needs.
PREPARING FOR HOLIDAY LETTING
Coastal breaks are all about making memories. You want guests to feel as inspired in your property as they do on the beach.
Interiors that grab them, comfy sofas to sink into, everything they need to cook up a feast, unlimited WiFi so they can stream movies as the night rolls around; it’s the attention to detail that will make their break stand out and encourage them to come back again.
INSURANCE AND COMPLIANCE
As an owner, you’ll need holiday property insurance to cover buildings and contents as well as public liability insurance. Other requirements for holiday letting include Gas Safety Checks, PAT testing, access statements and Fire Risk Assessments.
