Set in an elevated position overlooking Holywell Bay, this contemporary coastal retreat offers breathtaking views of the sea, dunes and golf course – an ideal escape for families, friends and four-legged companions. With a reverse-style layout and stylish interiors, the first-floor living space makes the most of the panoramic surroundings. A 10-minute stroll along scenic footpaths leads down to the wide, sandy beach.
Upstairs, the open-plan living area features a large corner sofa, 65-inch Smart TV with BOSE soundbar, electric fire and sliding doors opening onto a glass-fronted balcony with far-reaching views – a perfect spot for sunsets. The dining space has an oak table seating eight, while the modern kitchen is equipped with two electric ovens, induction hob, full-height fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, wine fridge and Nespresso coffee machine, plus a breakfast bar with four stools. A utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and separate freezer sits on the same floor. On the ground floor, four bedrooms sleep up to eight guests across king-size beds – two of which are zip-and-link and can be configured as singles. Two bedrooms enjoy sea views, and one has an en-suite with a walk-in rainfall shower. A family bathroom with bath and walk-in rainfall shower, plus a separate first-floor shower room, complete the layout. A travel cot and highchair are available. Outside, a sun terrace with table and chairs for eight is ideal for alfresco dining, an enclosed garden provides added privacy, and a hot outdoor shower is on hand for rinsing off after beach days. Three private parking spaces sit at the front of the house.
Holywell Bay is a wide beach on the north Cornwall coast, popular with surfers, bodyboarders and walkers. Explore the grotto-like Holywell Cave with its calcium deposits, and at low tide discover an old Argentinian coaster just offshore. The sand dunes – some reaching 60 feet in height – offer a scenic spot for a picnic or watching the sun go down. Follow the coastal path north to reach Crantock beach, and local pubs are within easy reach for a meal after a day on the sand.
