This large, contemporary two-storey penthouse apartment sits just moments from the shoreline of Watergate Bay – the adrenalin junkie's paradise on the North Cornwall coast. Inside, the vibrant interior opens into an open-plan living area with sofa, 4K LED television with Freeview, Chromecast, Blu-Ray/DVD/CD player and Bose Bluetooth speaker. A dining table seats six, and the fully equipped kitchen features a granite breakfast bar and washer/dryer. Underfloor heating runs throughout. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with doors opening onto the sea-view balcony and its own en-suite shower room. A family bedroom offers a double bed and a single bed with small trundle, while a family bathroom includes a shower over the bath. Books, games, an iron and ironing board are provided. Outside, designated covered parking is available for one car, and a communal surf shower lets you rinse off after a day on the beach. A secure storage cage in the basement keeps surf boards, wetsuits and beach toys safe.

Watergate Bay's two miles of sand are popular with surfers and thrill seekers alongside families, couples and dogs. Try your hand at surfing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and kite surfing – the beach is exposed to incoming Atlantic swell, making it an excellent spot for watersports. Stride out along the coast path with nearby walks to Newquay's seven bays or Mawgan Porth. Vibrant music festivals and surf competitions run throughout the year, and beachfront eateries offer everything from fried fish and juicy burgers to fine dining as the sun goes down.
