Live in harmony with the environment with a wildflower roof, air-source heating, and a mechanical ventilation system. Inside, discover a covered glass cloister wrapping around the living area and bedrooms for light filled spaces. Statement hallways with natural stone flooring, sky lights, concealed feature LED lighting and local Cornish artwork throughout the space set the tone.
Socialise and unwind
Living space features a Sonos surround sound system and concealed feature LED lighting for atmospheric evenings with the doors thrown open. Plus, enjoy a log burner and 65 inch Smart TV. Or, lounge in the separate family room with 65 inch Smart TV, bean bags, Sonos surround sound system. Centrally positioned in the house with glass walls – an ideal hideaway for children, or adults.
Feast
Cook up a storm in the fully-equipped kitchen with an emphasis on effortless efficiency – from a double oven, induction hob and microwave to an instant boiling water tap. Central island, made for social cooking, snacking and swift post-surf refuels. Tuck in at the large dining table with hanging feature lights. You’ll also find a second large wooden table right outside the door, to enjoy grazing boards and a bottle of something chilled under sunset skies.
Sleep
Discover five bedrooms – all with superking zip and link beds (which can be made into singles), and sliding doors with direct garden access. There are walk-in rainfall shower ensuites in all rooms – the master has a bath, too. Double sofa bed in family room. Additional family bathroom has a bath and walk-in rainfall shower (can be configured as an ensuite for the family room).
Bask
Outside, enjoy a grass lawn with views to the fields beyond, a curved seating space and fire pit. There’s also a large roof terrace with rearrangeable sofas for lounging and an outdoor shower.

The surroundings
Watergate Lodge sits between Cornwall’s rolling green fields and stretching blue ocean, a short stroll from two miles of rolling sand. It’s an adrenalin seeker’s paradise — surf lessons with Wavehunters, kayaking, paddleboarding and kite surfing on an Atlantic-facing beach built for it — with coast path walks to Newquay’s seven bays or Mawgan Porth when you need a change of pace. Refuel on fresh fish, woodfired pizza and local ice cream, or linger over scarlet sunsets with fresh local produce at the shoreside restaurants. The lively atmosphere is as constant as the tide, with music festivals and surf competitions running throughout the year.
