This stylish second floor apartment sits just moments from the shoreline of Watergate Bay – the adrenalin junkie's paradise on the North Cornwall coast – making it an ideal base for families, couples and dog owners. Inside, the open plan living area includes a dining space with table and four chairs and a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine. A deluxe double sofa bed in the living area can be configured as two full-length singles or a double, and there is a TV with Freeview. The double bedroom features a zip-and-link bed that can be used as a super-king double or two full-size single beds, with its own TV. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and heated towel rail. Underfloor heating runs throughout, and you will find a travel cot, highchair, iron, hairdryer, and a selection of books and board games. Step outside onto the sea-view balcony – a perfect suntrap – with table and four chairs for outdoor dining. Designated parking for one car is provided, along with a communal surf shower and a secure storage cage in the basement for surfboards, wetsuits and beach toys. A lift serves the apartment.

The beach is just across the road and down the slipway. Stride out on a long ramble or short jaunt along the coast path, with nearby walks to Newquay's seven bays or Mawgan Porth. Plunge into watersports lessons where you can try your hand at surfing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and kite surfing – the beach is exposed to incoming swell from the Atlantic. The lively atmosphere at Watergate is as constant as the tides, with vibrant music festivals and surf competitions running throughout the year.
