This second floor apartment overlooks Porth beach and its headland, offering families, adventurers and explorers of all ages a coastal base where hours slip by happily. Streams and rockpools beg to be explored, whilst a sweep of beach provides ample terrain for sandcastle building and sand-fairy making. When children draw a seaside scene, they draw Porth.
Inside, the open-plan living, dining and kitchen space enjoys beautiful views of Porth beach through sliding patio doors. The living area features a 55-inch Smart TV, Playstation and two two-seater sofas, while the kitchen is equipped with a double electric oven, induction hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, wine fridge, microwave and coffee machine. A dining table seats four, and a hallway utility cupboard houses a washer/dryer. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with sea views, built-in wardrobe, dresser and ensuite with walk-in rainfall shower. The second bedroom offers a superking zip-and-link bed, freestanding wardrobe and chest of drawers. A family bathroom with bath and rainfall shower overhead completes the sleeping quarters. Outside, a balcony with table and four chairs overlooks Porth beach – a perfect spot for a morning coffee. One designated off-street parking space is provided.
A narrow wooden footbridge leads across to Porth Island, a headland full of history where a blowhole shoots rainbow sprays of water at mid tide on windy days – wrap up warm and bring a camera to capture dramatic sunrises and storms alike. A short walk south along the coast path leads to Lusty Glaze beach, while Watergate Bay is a short 30-minute walk north. The rolling cliffs of Mawgan Porth stretch further along the coast, and beachside eateries and cafes sit within easy reach along the shore.
