This contemporary apartment is just a 200-metre level stroll along a quiet lane from the sandy shorefront of Mawgan Porth, making it a wonderful base for families or couples keen to explore North Cornwall's coastline. The beach gets it just right – a stretch of white sand, a swirling ocean, and a handful of tasty eateries along the beachfront street. Little feet can splash about in the trickling river and leave tiny footprints on the sand, perhaps joined by pawprints, as the beach is dog friendly all year round.

The South West Coast Path leads towards neighbouring Watergate Bay, around 2 miles away, or Bedruthan Steps, 2.5 miles away, where you can soak up spectacular panoramas. Try your hand at surfing at the local surf school or let off steam at seasonal crazy golf and pitch and putt near a historic Iron Age site. Shops, cafes, and an activity centre line the beachfront, while Padstow is around 20 minutes away by car.
