This four-bedroom detached house sits on a private lane just 100 metres from Mawgan Porth's sandy beach, a great fit for families and groups exploring Cornwall's north coast. The beach gets it just right – a stretch of white sand, a swirling ocean and a handful of tasty eateries. Little feet can splash about in the trickling river and leave tiny footprints on the sand, perhaps joined by pawprints, as the beach is dog friendly all year round.

Smart Home technology allows remote control of lighting, heating and security. On the ground floor, the master bedroom has a king-size bed with sliding doors to the garden and an en-suite shower room. A second bedroom offers a king-size bed and an en-suite with a walk-in rainfall shower. The third bedroom has a super-king zip-and-link bed that can be split into a twin, and the fourth is also a twin. The family bathroom has a bath with a shower over. Outside, the balcony seats four with views of the headland, and an enclosed raised terrace at the rear seats eight. A front lawn offers valley views, with private parking for two vehicles, an outside hot shower and wetsuit hanging space. Electric vehicle charging is also available.


The beachfront street is dotted with shops, cafes and a surf school where you can try your hand at mastering the waves. Seasonal crazy golf and pitch and putt sit near a historic Iron Age site. For longer walks, take the South West Coast Path towards Watergate Bay or Bedruthan Steps for views along the coast. Padstow is around 20 minutes away by car.
