Positioned in the heart of a charming Cornish former fishing village, this contemporary apartment sits in a frontline waterfront setting overlooking Cawsand Beach, ideal for both romantic escapes and family holidays. Tucked into the Rame Peninsula, Cawsand is a rare treat – a beautiful village and beach less frequented by the summer masses. Masts and sails point skywards as boats bob in the harbour swell, skimming stones bounce, barnacles fizz, and ice-cream sticky fingers get washed in the lulling tide.
Inside, the open-plan living space has a kitchen, dining area and spectacular panoramic views over Cawsand Bay. The sitting area has a large corner sofa (sofa bed for two), an armchair and a flat-screen TV with Freeview; bi-fold doors open onto a private balcony above the beach. The kitchen includes an island with three breakfast stools and a Dolce Gusto pod coffee machine. A large wooden dining table seats up to eight. The master bedroom has a super-king-size bed and magnificent sea views, with an en-suite walk-in rainfall shower. The second bedroom has a super-king-size bed (convertible to twins) and a Juliet balcony, with an en-suite corner shower. The third bedroom also has a super-king-size bed (convertible to twins), and a family bathroom with a bath serves this room. Outside, the large balcony offers uninterrupted views over Cawsand Beach and the ocean – watch the morning wild swimmers take a dip or enjoy a sundowner in the evening. One allocated parking space is provided in the underground car park.
Amble to Kingsand Beach right next door, or for the more energetic, the high cliffs and stretching sands of Whitsand Bay are just over 5 miles away along the South West Coast Path, which runs right behind the apartment. The Rame Head coastal walk is also within easy reach. Leave the car behind and hop aboard the Cawsand Ferry from the beach, listening to the clang of anchors and the squawk of seagulls as the boat chugs across to Plymouth, where restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops await. The ferry runs from Easter until the last Sunday in October.
