Perched on the Pentire headland overlooking Fistral, this contemporary second floor apartment gives couples and small families a front row seat to one of Cornwall's top sunset locations. World famous for its epic surf and spirit, Fistral Beach is just 150 metres away along the edge of the golf course – grab a board and get amongst the swell, or cross the cliff top path towards Little Fistral and its surrounding coves for a more leisurely feel. Newquay town centre is less than 1 mile away and has lots of visitor attractions such as Newquay Zoo, Newquay Aquarium, a multiplex cinema, restaurants and pubs galore, and Trenance Gardens.
Inside, beautifully furnished open plan living, dining and kitchen space is dressed in calming pastel colours throughout. Floor-to-ceiling glass patio doors bring the outside in, framing picture-perfect views over Fistral. The living area has a three-seater sofa, two armchairs, a 55-inch smart TV and a PlayStation 3 with a selection of games. A large wooden dining table seats up to four, and the fully equipped kitchen includes a Lavazza coffee pod machine and cafetiere. Two comfortable bedrooms both feature super king size beds that can be made into two singles – the master enjoys superb sea views and an en-suite shower room with rainfall shower, while the second bedroom is served by a family bathroom. A washer/dryer is tucked away in a separate hallway cupboard. Outside, the balcony overlooks Fistral with seating for sundowners and alfresco dining. A surf shower, storage cage for surfboards and wetsuits, and two bodyboards are provided for guests. Allocated parking is available in the secure underground car park, recommended for small to medium cars due to its corner location.
Sand and shingle spill out between barnacle-dotted pools around Little Fistral, perfect for carving out a secret space away from the busy chatter of the main bay. Fancy stretching your legs? Wait for low tide and take a stroll around the headland past Newquay's historical Huer's Hut and towards the town's seven beaches, rewarding yourself with an ice cream when you're done. Watergate Bay is just a 10-minute drive away with its rolling surf and eateries, or Perranporth and its quirky shops can also be reached by car.
