As close to the beach and sea as is possible - Sea Wall Cottage is built on the old sea wall of Porth beach with fabulous sea views. This is a truly unique property which is cosy and comfortable offering year round accommodation which will appeal to couples and families alike. A former two storey fishermans cottage, it has plenty of character and has been decorated to a high standard with contemporary furnishings and is located just around the corner from Porth Beach House, Dove Cottage and Clipper Cottage at Porth.
You enter the comfortable kitchen which is fully fitted with electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer dryer and fridge/freezer. The dining area has an oak dining table and chairs and beautiful beach views, so that you can watch the waves as you relax. Take the stairs up to the first floor and you will find a sun porch with wonderful beach and sea views - ideal for relaxing on a sunny evening as the sun sets over the sea.
The living room has views of beach and sea, a comfortable sofa and chairs with an open fire for cosy evenings in. There is a large television with Freeview, DVD player, iPod docking station and Wifi access. Travel cot and highchair, hairdryer, iron and ironing board are included. Centrally heated throughout.
Double bedroom with chairs in the bay window so that you can enjoy the sea views. This bedroom leads to the family bathroom (bath with shower over, basin and W.C.) and a small bedroom with twin beds.
Beside the beach is the small secluded courtyard with sea views which is furnished with table and chairs. Safe storage for surfboards and beach things. Parking for one car. Two well behaved dogs welcome at the property which is close to the coastal path for good walks.
Porth is the kind of beach that kids dream of with sheltered soft sand and rock pools galore. Located on the north coast of Cornwall it has a stream flowing down to the shoreline and even an island with a wooden bridge across to it. Lifeguards patrol the beach from May to September, making it safe for swimming and bodyboarding. Even during the height of summer, Porth provides a sense of peace, with a restaurant and pub right next to the beach.
