Foodies will be spoilt for choice from the laid back feel of the legendary Beach Hut to the unique experience of the Jamie Oliver inspired restaurant, Fifteen Cornwall. Here you can watch the young people in training working alongside some of the best chefs to create innovative menus with seasonal, local produce. The Brasserie and Living Space at The Hotel at Watergate Bay are two more places to take a break from the beach and chill out with incredible views over the whole of the bay with special menus for children. During the summer, the takeaway serves hot drinks, snacks and ice creams to enjoy on the beach. For local produce, try Trevilley Farm Shop or Bre-Pen which has an excellent range of vegetables, fruit and meats from their own land plus wine, cider, home made cakes and ready meals.

Watergate Bay is just 4 miles from Newquay and just an hours drive from St Ives with its bustling harbour streets and Tate Gallery. The Eden Project is also less than an hour away.
