Just 60 metres from the beach at Porth, Clipper Cottage is an original fishermans cottage with plenty of traditional Cornish character. This property was completely renovated last year and has been finished to a high standard in a contemporary New England style. Clipper Cottage has some lovely features - the wood burning stove in the living room makes the cottage a perfect autumn and winter retreat while the large conservatory and two secluded decked garden areas enable guests to make the most of sunny days.
Porth is the kind of beach that kids dream of with soft sand and rock pools galore. Located on the north coast of Cornwall it has a stream flowing down to the shoreline and even an island with a wooden bridge across to it. Lifeguards patrol the beach from May to September, making it safe for swimming, surfing and bodyboarding. Even during the height of summer, Porth provides a sense of peace, with a bistro, cafe, pub and handy convenience store right next to the beach.
