Porth Beach House is an early 19th century house just 35 metres from the sand at Porth with superb sea views from the sitting room. Designed in a gorgeous New England style with fresh white wood and beach fabrics, a new open-plan kitchen and dining area, additional bathrooms, modern wood-burners and refurbishment of all the rooms, this is a stunning holiday home all year round.
Porth is the kind of beach that kids dream of with soft sand and rock pools galore. Located on the north coast of Cornwall it has a stream flowing down to the shoreline and even an island with a wooden bridge across to it. Lifeguards patrol the beach from May to September, making it safe for swimming, surfing and bodyboarding. Even during the height of summer, Porth provides a sense of peace, with a bistro, cafe, pub and handy convenience store right next to the beach.
Ground Floor double bedroom with wood-burner, ensuite shower, WC and basin. Additional WC and basin. Open-plan dining room and kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob, and microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. French doors lead from kitchen onto a small decked courtyard with table and chairs. Iron, ironing board, 2 hairdryers, travel cot and highchair.
First Floor sitting room with stunning views of the beach and sea, flatscreen television with standard satellite package, DVD player and MP3 docking station. Two bedrooms (one double, one twin) with shared ensuite shower room with basin and WC.
Further double bedroom and small twin bedroom with bunk beds. Family bathroom (WC, basin, shower over bath).Centrally heated with two wood burners.
Outside are two small enclosed courtyards at front and back suitable for barbecues. Parking for 2 cars. Two well-behaved dogs welcome but please note that dogs are not permitted on Porth beach between Easter and 1st October. Short breaks available. |
