A superbly positioned beach bungalow on the very edge of the sand with uninterrupted views across Polzeath beach and out to sea. Mermaid’s Purse has a unique garden of decking and sand dunes at the front and is located just a couple of minute’s walk from Polzeath’s shops and restaurants.

Entrance hall leading to living room with large picture window providing panoramic sea views. Two leather sofas, window seat, dining table with six chairs, digital television with Sky receiver, DVD, VCR and CD player, iPod docking station, books, games and videos. Kitchen with fridge plus fridge-freezer, double oven, ceramic hob, extractor, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, and microwave.

Double bedroom with window seat and fantastic sea views, vanity unit with basin and fitted wardrobes. Twin bedroom with vanity basin and wardrobe, further small twin bedroom with bunk beds and chest of drawers. Family bathroom with electric shower over bath, basin and WC.

Front garden with decking area, table and chairs, sun loungers, gas barbecue and fire pit; to the rear is a fully enclosed, secure courtyard with electric surf shower, board rack, wetsuit drying rail and separate WC. One parking space plus pass for nearby beach car park. Sorry no smoking. Dogs permitted low season only. Cautionary deposit of £175 required when booking.

General Info

This Beach Retreat can be booked for full weeks only during school holidays. Christmas and New Year breaks can be booked as 5 night holidays only from 22 -27 December 2008 or 28 December – 2 Jan 2009. Short Breaks for 4 and 5 night’s duration are available at other times with flexible arrival days – full details are available here. Dogs are charged at £20 per week or part thereof where accepted in the property.
