This beautiful coastal house is perched high above Mawgan Porth beach giving you outstanding sea views from every aspect. The nautically styled building was completely renovated in 2008 and features a modern curved feature wall, porthole window and large wrap around glass doors to a spacious upper deck. Headland`s generous living space offers an abundance of rooms to relax in and take in the exceptional sea views and when you can nolonger resist the urge, Mawgan Porth beach,is only five minute walk down a quiet lane. Headlands is an ideal base for a family wanting a stylish holiday house with great sea views and the latest technology with easy access to the sands.
Mawgan Porth is a wide beach on the north coast of Cornwall, backed by high dunes. At low tide, the beach here reveals a huge expanse of sand - perfect for sand castles, kite flying and beach games. Close to the beach, you will find a shop cum deli selling all the essentials plus some luxuries, a pub and a restaurant. In addition there are two other hotel restaurants in the bay and an exclusive adult only spa, all within easy walking distance of the house. Otherwise, Mawgan Porth is characterised by its off the beaten track character and relaxed feel.
The heated outside shower is great for rinsing off when you get back from the beach and offers plenty of storage for boards, wetsuits and wellies in addition to the large storage cupboard in the hallway. The practical slate floor plus the shower room with WC is also really hand. There is plenty of room to dry clothes in addition to the utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and airer. Head upstairs to the beautiful open plan living area and fully equipped kitchen, as well as the large upper deck, which gives you stunning sea views.
The living area has defined areas for relaxing, eating and watching the waves including a cosy corner with a wood burning stove for wintry days where you can hunker down and watch the waves crashing on the beach below. The dining area has plenty of seating for up to ten people making it perfect for families or groups of friends. There are also some lovely, comfy sofas to curl up on to enjoy the sea views and you can open up the full height wrap around, glass doors which lead out to the deck to give you more space for al fresco dinners or drinks.
The widescreen Loewe television system has a full media centre and Sky is linked from here to the Master bedroom giving you entertainment not just in the living area but around the house.
The kitchen is extremely well equipped with black granite worktops, fridge, freezer, microwave, oven and a gas hob. In addition, there is an extra fridge in the utility room for guests to store drinks. There is even a larder in addition to the kitchen cupboards providing plenty of storage. The hallway then leads to the first bedroom with a king size bed, single day bed, chest of drawers, television and iPod docking station. There are great sea views from this room as it is located at the front of the house on the first floor.
The second bedroom is a twin located at the rear of the house and has a television and IPod docking statio. These two rooms share use of the adjacent bathroom with shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail. A handy study area in the hallway allows you to access the Wifi easily. You can then continue up the stairs to the upper deck which has a lovely sheltered balcony area with stunning sea views.
The master king size bedroom is on the second floor and is a stylish room with plenty of space and storage in the chest of drawers, bedside cabinet and IPod Deck. The television connects to the Sky system in the living area and the triangular window provide you with even more spectacular views of the beach. The fourth bedroom also has a king size bed, fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets, television and iPod Deck and with equally breathtaking sea views.

The house is located on a hill and care must be taken when using the outside landscaped areas as there are steep slopes. Children must be supervised at all times and there are neighbouring gardens which reach right up to the property. Access to the property by car is via a long driveway, with a steep slope to one side but there is adequate turning space.
