Wren`s Nest, located just a few metres from Porth beach, is a perfect example of the Cornish character cottage. This cosy traditional fishermans cottage has period detail everywhere, from the original flagstone floor to the beamed ceilings. That`s not to say this property is without modern luxuries, it has been thoughtfully renovated to include every contemporary comfort, with a flat screen wide television with Sky package, WiFi broadband access and surround sound state of the art stereo system for entertainment.
Porth is the kind of beach that kids dream of with soft sand and rock pools galore. Located on the north coast of Cornwall it has a stream flowing down to the shoreline and even an island with a wooden bridge across to it. Lifeguards patrol the beach from May to September, making it safe for swimming, surfing and bodyboarding. Even during the height of summer, Porth provides a sense of peace, with a bistro, cafe, pub and handy convenience store right next to the beach.

Open tread stairs to upper floor - please note that elderly guests may find the steps steep and children must be supervised at all times.
First Floor double bedroom with wrought iron double bed, beamed ceiling, original polished floorboards, antique furniture, selection of books and electric heater. Small single bedroom with single bunk bed, two wooden chests for storage and selection of games and toys. Bathroom with bath with shower attachment, basin and W.C.
Wren`s Nest is equipped with WiFi broadband access, iron and ironing board. One small, well behaved dog is accepted, but please note that dogs are not permitted on Porth beach between Easter and 1st October.
Parking is available just outside the cottage on the road, but this can be bsuy at peak times and you may have to park in the public car park which is within two mins walk. Cautionary deposit of £50 required when booking.
Short breaks available. Please note that due to the unique character of the cottage, it is only possible to fit a stair gate to the door dividing the living room and kitchen and not on the stairs themselves.
